Wow, been a few years since I updated.

Original Scripts

On the Unproduced Scripts page there are twenty-five original works for your reading pleasure. There are two different takes on the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise as well as a take on Green Lantern.

Brea has a short dramatic piece, She Won’t Even Remember You about a woman who visits her ex huband's mother.

And, in the spirit of Valentine's Day, Michael has Valentines Day: Grateful Dead. - Don

Dr. Who Transcripts and a major cleanup of the TV Scripts and Transcripts Database

In the world of SimplyScripts, I cleaned up the TV Scripts and Transcripts database. I got a bunch of broken links relinked. Couple of new transcript sites on the 'net - TV Transcripts DB has some varied shows up, including Weeds which I've yet to see on the 'net. Also, Dr. Who 2005+ Transcripts has, as the name implies, transcripts to seasons 9 and 10 of Dr. Who.

I remain painfully behind in getting Unproduced Scripts up.

As most of you are aware, well, as most script dorks are aware, there are three drafts of The Matrix available on the 'net. However, up until yesterday, when you typed in "The Matrix Revolution Script" all that google had to offer up were fan boy transcripts transcribed from watching the movie. While noble endevours, there is nothing like seeing how the later movies were envisioned by the screenwriters. Now, thanks to "The One" and Horror Lair early drafts of The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions are available on the 'net. For those of you who need a recap of the three drafts of The Matrix, Horrorlair has identified those for you, too.

The blue pill and the red pill can be found on the Movie Scripts page.

On the Movie Scripts page we have, thanks to "Vern" and Sci Fi Scripts the 1972 screenplay to The Poseidon Adventure. And, thanks to "Script Chick" and The Daily Script there is a draft of Life on Liberty Street.

Finally, the Discussion Board is back up and alive after being in the ER for a couple of days.

Sex and Gore (but not at the same time) Desperate Housewives Pilot Script and Wes Craven's The Hills Have Eyes.

They are on the Movie Script Page, thanks to my arch nemesis (curse you Red Baron) and The Movie Page you can read Wes Craven's The Hills Have Eyes before it was The Hills Have Eyes and when it was Blood Relations The Sun Wars.

Thanks to Just A Guy In Hollywood you can read the pilot, first writer's draft of Desperate Housewives. That would be on the Television Scripts page.

Gremlins 2 and The Chronicles of Narnia Screenplays

Thanks to Horror Lair and Vern, the third draft of Gremlins 2 is on the 'net. Also, thanks to Just A Guy in Hollywood we can read this early, early draft of The Hundred Year Winter which was filmed as The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. These can be experienced on the Movie Scripts and Screenplays page.

SimplyScripts sez: My new best friend is James Patrick Kelly. Escape Pod indirectly put me in touch with Jim Kelly's work. I like speculative fiction and I have enjoyed "Burn". I'm looking forward to listening to Men Are Trouble. It has been nominated for a Nebula award.

I was amazed to listen to Little Worker by Paul Di Filippo. I read a dead tree version of Little Worker several years ago in Analog and really loved the story of the bio-engineered 'dog' so loyal to her master. Jonathan Sullivan does a great job of reading the story.

Mind blanker than usual. I'm going to tottle off to bed.
